Mazdaspeed Side Mirror Info/Questions

Does anyone with a Left Hand Drive have the mazdaspeed mirrors???
Im not sure if you can use the mazdaspeed mirrors in the US because of the magnificiation differences between the driver and passenger side mirror and the MS mirrors were made for RHD.

i like the stock ones. i would use that maney for the spoiler or even the front fasnia..

The mirrors do fit on RH drive cars.

Bear this in mind, however:

If your original mirrors are heated, you give that up.

And they are not power adjustable, so you have to do it from outside, and thos buttons on the door do nothing.

They are also a bit smaller and give less vision area.

Actually Mazdaspeed isnt the only company selling mirrors.

FEED has them too, which are just rebaged GANADOR mirrors, very nice looking and still give a good view. We have a set coming threw in a few days in Carbon Fiber and I can offer a little more info then. They are electrical though, but not heated.

Im surprised to hear the Mazdaspeed ones arent Electrical since right here in my Book it says they are...... WEIRD

They are offered in NO paint, or Painted.

The Aero mirrors are wired, but apparently the wiring is only compatible in RH drive cars.

When (IF) somebody orders a set, and I get a chance to look at the wiring, maybe we can find a way to modify that to work with N.American/LH drive RX-8's

In the meantime, I agree with you JT.
There are other mirrors available which are a lot less money than 48,000 Yen..

If so, I'm interested if they mirror part of them (not the housing) is larger than the factory mirrors on the 8?

I dont have them but have heard they are smaller and designed for right hand side cars

This is true. They are smaller and ment for JDM 8s. On the other hand, they're more areo and look way better. Mine will be in soon, though they aren't the Mazda Speed name brand. They're made by Gannador who makes them for Mazda Speed. They come in either black or carbon look and are a direct fit and use the existing power option. We consider these to be signature mirrors for all our cars and have them on the WRX, EVO, and Z. I'll be painting mine to match the Titanium.

Price is not retail obviously and can't disscuss that but yes they fit and work on our cars.
