Kenstyle rear bumper.

So I got rear ended and decided to go with the kenstyle bumper. However, when I have it install at my local body shop; they told me the bumper won't fit with the reenforcement bar on. Do anyone else have the same bumper? Does it require you to trim the bar and put it back on? Because that's what I plan on doing..
Any input is welcomed.

So were you able to trim it yourself? If so..what tool did you use?
do you have a general idea of which part needs to be trimmed?

Mine just went on. My body guy said it fit perfect. He didn't say he needed to trim or remove anything

I believe this picture best shows what my bodyshop guys did. They notched the reinforcement bar since the Japanese spec car doesnt have it. Its a great rear bumber if not the best for the 8. Looks best when you have a photo of the source material for its design to
