Headlights
Ok so about a year ago i got into a pretty bad accident in 2008 RX8 without insurance... Plus i have a loan on the car so I am still paying on it...had been rough couple months for me.. Dealership wanted 15K to fix... I also have 2 uncles that own 2 diff body shops so i took it to the first one n he told me with out airbags 10K... then the next uncle told me he could get me a front clip n it would only be around 7K... well we got the clip and i am bout to start helping with the repair... now the clip is from a 2005 not 100% sure if it is Xenon headlights or not and mine is... mine has all the bells n whistles another reason y i want to fix it... I love this car and really want it back to running shape for the summer... I am hoping someone on here can lead me in a right direction... what i am hoping for is someone to tell me where or give me a link to where i can locate some cheap Xenon headlights. it has taken me this long to save up enough money to get to where i need to be in order get my car started and i do not have $800-$1000 to spend on a new set of headlights.. I am hoping to find an aftermarket place that has them for a fair price... Thanks in advance for all advice..

Sorry man but I have NEVER seen any aftermarket lights for our cars, and Xenons go for about $770 each last time I checked. Maybe you could try going to a junkyard and pulling some off?

Toothpaste headlight cleaning
Thats right. I saw a vid on YouTube for cleaning plastic headlights like the ocho's with whitening toothpaste. WOW! It works. I forgot to take before and after sorry but the yellow and light swirls and scratches came out. I just followed up with a light coat of spray nano wax then rain-x. Very impressed. Just use microfiber and scrub in circular motion until the toothpaste dries. I used clean micro towel and wiped off then cleaned with stoner glass cleaner followed by wax and rain-x as mentioned. Very impressed. Oh toothpaste was Kirkland brand whitening paste (not gel) from Costco. Try it! You'll like it!
