Alright I have a duraflex body kit in with my car in the shop to get repaired (I know I know duraflex equals what I put in the toilet every morning). Anyway, I have the vader back bumper and the edges stick out like 7 inches on each side. I mounted the bumper myself and it was a pain but I didn't mount it all the way to the driver side since my quarter panel was scraped. It was literally almost there though. And now he says it won't fit at all. Help?!?! I really don't feel like buying another bumper and he needs it to shape the scraped quarter panel. He thinks that they need fender flares which me and everyone that has seen this bumper knows it doesn't. It does crack though when you bend it to the point it fits on the bumper. And he is afraid it will just break off like an egg shell as soon as I hit a bump. I need serious help here guys. Thanks!

Surprisingly this happens to everyone that buys cheap body kits for this car.

throw it out it is garbage, i work in a body shop there is no way without making it either

b fall the frak off and crack apart, seriously they arent lying =/



but more importantly, listen to them u should get a OEM cover is they have to repair the qUARTER panel based on the rear covers body lines, you absolutely dint wanna use anything but a real cover or your quarter will be sculpted wrong to the bad bumper

I just don't understand though, I had it virtually installed and it was on there and felt very solid. I just wouldn't mount all the way on due to the scraped up quarter panel. It is frustrating for the fact that me not a body person got it to fit but I also understand where he is coming from. we don't have the most smooth roads either. And besides that, it fits almost perfect.

Did you go to a reputable body shop, or did you cheap out like you did on the bumper?

bumper i could agree, body shop i would easily disagree. He actually doesn't like messing with aftermarket bumpers for this reason, which I thought it would just be some fitment work and be done, but not it not fitting all together. The front bumper and sides are fine though. Anyone selling an oem bumper for cheap? lol

Looks like you got a little series of problems here...

Problem 1. duraflex body kit

Problem 4. duraflex body kit

This appears to be a duraflex body kit issue you are having.. The fitment is very bad and the body shop has to do a LOT of work to get it to be decent.
