The elusive R-Magic Wide BK

I think I pulled this image from this forum a while ago, tagged as R-Magic Wide. I looked and looked but could not find it anywhere for sale. Does it exist or is this a custom job?

My search skills are pretty bad so forgive me if this has been asked before...

Thanks a lot

Alex

You can't Google "r magic rx 8 wide body"? Geesh. It exists and it is very expensive.

Alex:

That is indeed the R Magic widebody kit and it is available from Japanparts.com
The price for the kit is $7,552.63 USD,
The custom wing is $2,048.12
Shipping to your door is another $2,253.09

Total = $11,853.84

The kit comes unpainted so you should expect to pay another couple thousand dollars to have that done professionally. All in, this is at least a $15,000 upgrade.

Thanks a lot Jedi54. I own a stock 07 GT and since it's my first car I am a newbie on the whole modding thing. I was under the impression that they come painted so I was looking for the same exact matte paintjob. :p oh well...

It sure is pricey considering it's more $$ than the value of the car, but it does look amazing.

Any info on the paint and rims of this car?

rev: you have expensive taste.

The paint is just flat black, any shop can do that.
The wheels are Volks GT-C. Depending on the size you want, they are about $850 - $1,000 each without tires.

in summary: you're looking at an RX-8 with well over $20,000 put into it.

For some reason I think it'd be so much cleaner without the spoiler.

IMO anyone who drops that much on a body kit on an rx8 is insane.
but 1/3 of that money into the motor and the car will be much more impressive.

That's what pdx is referring to though, a built motor to back up the show, plus you need really wide expensive wheels to finish off the look,

Bodykit
Shipping
Body work
Paint
Wheels
Tires
Engine mods

Suspension
Tuning
and so on...
