Brake Paint Color advice
Hey guys I have a wwp 8 with stock rims. I want to paint my calipers because Im sick of the rust on mine. I have a black and red interior, so my original idea was to go red (I know unoriginal). But I just purchased an exotic speed r1-t exhaust it has blue tips, I feel like the colors will all clash any suggestions on what color I should paint the calipers?

I have a few suggestions.
I have previously had duplicolor blue, and now have duplicolor black, with white rx8 logos
First, do not paint them red. Just don't
Second, if you want to, the blue wouldn't look too bad. But I think you should do the 3rd suggestion
Thirdly, I think you should do what I have now, or the inverse. Paint them black and put a white rx8 logo, orrr paint them white and put a black logo. But They get dirty easily and I don't think they will stick out as much if you do that latter.
Just my suggestions. If you want to see the blue, look through my albums. I have a bunch of pictures of my black with white logo, I just haven't put them up.

I know my opinion on this subject differs from the majority of the board, but I think bright colors and logos should be reserved for big brake kits only, and painting stock calipers bright colors and adding logos to them should be on the list of things that no one should do their car. I know our brakes work well, but they aren't pretty (in any color)... why draw attention to them? It's like the Honda guys that paint their drum brakes. Having said that, if you have an 04 or 05 (before the calipers came painted silver from the factory) painting the calipers black or silver is a vast improvement.

I painted mine black and it really cleaned up the overall look of the car. The rust on the hubs was nasty and it is all I saw every time I looked at my car. Another reason I like black is because they tend to fade into background and you do not notice them. I very much agree with Aipex8 that we do not have the type of calipers to show off. Keep it simple and keep it clean.
