40th AE MazdaSpeed

My 40th AE now has an authentic MS body. I installed the front, rear and wing. However I had to have a body shop do the sides. I did not want to mess up the drilling where I did not have templates. I also installed the MS interior and leather arm rests. I will post pics soon.

Looks good! Some proper pictures in the daytime will really show how it looks.

Where did you score the MS body kit, if you don't mind?

I'm working 12 hour days so day pics will be on hold for a couple days. The front and sides were used and came from a guy on this site. The wing was also from here. It was the guy who had a couple of the blue wings. The diffuser was on eBay. The interior came from Japanparts.com and the authentic leather arm rests and JDM fuel door came from a Mazda dealer in England.

I could not find MS side mirrors so I purchased the PZ mirrors. I believe they were only available on European RX-8s. They look very similiar. I will put them on once I store the car. I am not aware of any 40th AEs with the MS kit. I have the racing beat duct and intake and will install a full Exoticspeed engine back system.

Very nice! Love the red seats. I love the MS side mirror but i do enjoy having heated mirrors. To my understanding, they remove the heated mirror functions

The nice thing about the PZ mirrors is that they still utilize power heated mirrors.

Ahh, looked at some pictures of them, definitely not my style. If you want to get MS mirrors, ganador mirrors are pretty much the same thing.

Where did you track down all of the MS parts (if you don't mind)?

I said it before and I'll say it again- looks great! Now, you just need to bring her a bit lower

I have an exhaust for her. Just have to install. I've thought about spacers. Just need to decide if I should go 20 or 25mm.
