RX8 Friend - Latest Map?

I understand you wrote something about the latest map being done as of 5/18/04 so a 1.1 unit that was purchased say 4/15/04 would you say is not ready for the M Flash? And if it is not what do I need to do to get it up to spec? Do I send it to you? And what would the cost be? Just checking before I attempt to put this in because I get the M flash on Wednesday and do not want to run into any problems with the car not wanting the M Flash with the Canzoomer. Thanks

Sorry did not read the previous post about updates and such. So I need the software and cable but I really do not have access to a laptop and nor do I want to buy one. So what then?

You could program it with a desk top computer. We can make a power cable for it. You will need a 12 V DC power supply - about 2 Amps and regulated voltage. The power cable would cost around $10, the power supply (Radio Shack) perhaps $30. Less than shipping after a couple of map changes. You can get a programming cable for a USB port or a 9 pin RS-232 port if you don't have USB.

I think the previous maps work with "M", the current one is just optimized for it. Try it and see.

could you make a 30 ft cable, my computer is pretty far from my driveway.i just got the regular cable from canzoomer 2 days ago
