No Map, No Gain?

Hi all, I need some help.

I'd bought a used AP for my 2005 RX-8 EUDM 6MT. But there is only Stock Style Map MTv100 which I can use.

Since there isn't any Stage 1 Map, I supposed I'm not enjoying the (up to)5.5% HP gain?

There isn't any map for EUDM RX-8 that I can download from the cobbtuning website. Is there any way I can get it?

Thanks for reading..

You can get a custom e-tune from Mazdamaniac

^what he said.
You don't want to use the stage one maps anyway they are garbage as they are not for YOUR car, you wouldn't want a blood transfussion that wasn't YOUR blood type would you? NO. Same idea.

Thanks for the quick reply!

But aren't these APs supposed to come with a few maps like stage 1, anti-theft, economy, valet, stock style?

Yes it does but those were made so that the average modded RX-8 can run a bit better (but some had experienced issues with those) but there are not optimized for your mods. In brief not exactly safe maps to run, pay MM or someone else to get a custom tune for your car or learn to tune it yourself.

The standard maps made by cobb are crap, joining MazdaManiac's custom calibration service is the only way to do it right

Don't run Stage 1 or Economy. All anti-theft does, is change the REV Limiter to 100 RPM and Valet to 3500 RPM.

Stock Style is the latest Mazda factory flash.
