Hi,
Got my new Cobb AccessPort yesterday. Got it on eBay. It was brand new. When I installed it on my car I noticed it had a Mazda Maniac map on it. Do all cobbs come with a MM map? Or did I get one he sent out and they didn't install?

Neither of mine did but I don't know maybe Jeff started doing this.

Its a useless map unless you're going to do his tuning service.
I wouldn't recommend using it

Someone must have bought it from MM, loaded the map on (they don't come loaded) and then sold it to you. Was the device unmarried from the car it was on previously? As in, are you actually able to use it with your car?

Yeah, unmarried. Actually works with my car. I can tell a difference after I loaded the map to my car.

So explain a bit on the improvement?

A word of caution.
That tune wasn't created for your car and the MM base tunes are not meant to be a permanent tune.

hello i would just like to add to this, i just recently got an access port as well, installed it on my car no problem, now i am driving an 07 AT 6 speed, my access port does not tell me AFRs at all, like there is no option for it anywhere on my access port, anyone know why this is?

There is a list of parameters that you can choose to see and log .....just check the ones you want to see and they will be in the list
