New Access Port In The Works ???
Hoping if any one could shed light (MM ?) if a new version of the access port is in the works for 2010/11, Had two vendors who apparently stated availability on their web sites, who I've gone ahead and paid, only for them to refund my money back a day or two later. Wish these people would update their inventory. Can't seem to find any except from a seller on flea bay who is asking an inflated price, though apparently he has 20 available. He's asking $595 OUCH! include MM's tune and major OUCH! Any one got the skinny, thanks guys.

The AcessPORT is DEAD for the RX-8.
Cobb has discontinued ALL AccessPORT for cars that are not forced induction.
Jeff might have a few lying around so try his website www.mazdamaniac.com
Once those are gone, there will be no more new accessports from Cobb.

COBB has stated previously that there are no plans to develop an accessPORT for the 2009+ RX8 series 2. Any vendors that claim to be selling such a device are doing so falsely. Cobb has also ceased any and all development support for the RX8 as well as various other NA platforms. Regardless of whether or not the device is available, COBB will not provide any future development.

as these cars continue to decrease in value, the odds of people buying them as project cars highly increases so the likely hood we'll see more FI RX-8's also goes up.
ie; there will still be a good demand for engine management devices.
who knows though, guess we'll all just have to stay tuned and see what becomes of all this.
