Unhappy AT to MT conversion (PCM only)

Hi guys,

ECU was dead. I must replace another ECU. It was second time.

My friend scrapped his RX-8 after the accident. I can bring ECU of this car. My car is 6 gear's Manual, however it was 4 gear's Automatic. I could find that ECU Pin-layout of AT was little bit different from MT.

If I will reprogram it to MT use by IDS(VCM), can I use it on my car?

May fortune smile on you.

Can I use US-Spec ECU 6MT on my JDM RX-8 6MT when I'll remove immobilizer?

Thanks!
