If you remove the washer fluid tank and pull back the insulation on the firewall you will see where the steering would have came through on a right hand drive car. This works perfect for making a hole to pass through there, there is enough space on the inside of the firewall where you will not drill into anything and it will pass out right behind the glove box. when feeding the wires from the engine to the interior you will need to direct the wires slightly downward and you will see them emerge into your floorboard. There is a pic somewhere on the boards. I think it was in a thread for routing the power wire for an amp.

I took a picture for you but forgot to upload it last night. It shows where to drill/cut the hole in the firewall. I will upload it tonight.
