I need the stock tune

Could someone please email me a copy of the stock tune for an 07 Rx8 on the Cobb Access Port (I think it's 06-08 Tune). Not sure how but somewhere along the way the tune got written over and is no longer the stock tune.

Please let me know if you are willing and I will PM you me email address.

The reason is the car is flooded and not sure if I can get her going this time. She has 98,000 miles so I think I am going to go and beg the dealer for a new engine. First I need to do some un-mods.

Thanks in advance guys.

You want to UNINSTALL with your access port.

This will return you to stock. That's the only way short of sending your AP and your ECU to Cobb.

Surely if I uninstall the cobb what ever tune is currently on there will stay on there. I have a tune on the Cobb called stock tune. However that is now a modified tune. I am looking form someone that has the stock tune that is unmodified.

When you uninstall the Cobb it puts the original Mazda tune back on.

I think the 'stock tune' in the list is just reference, not the one that gets put on the ecu when you uninstall.

9k and Pearl are correct.

What you think is your stock tune is the base (stage 1) Cobb map.

Your dealer will not be able to interface with your ECU if you have a Cobb map installed which is why I said you must UNINSTALL it.

I think his concern is that the map he sees labeled "stock tune" is what gets reloaded on uninstall. I'm pretty sure that it's not it, and the actual stock flash is safely stored away out of sight and can't be modified.
