help with int-x

Hello,
i come from austria and i install the interceptorX.
i think i am the only one here who have one.
my car is NA. the mods are listed in my signature..

my questions:
1. the outside temperatures now are about 30-40°F. is it normal that the car runs rough?

2. can i plug in my lc1 or do i need the microtech wbo2? i have the int-x version 3.0

3. i think the car runs too rich because there comes flames from the exhaust and the car feels weird when i accelerate.

4. how can i load maps on or down from the dongle?

i hope you can help me.
i´m sorry for my english

The laptop adapter i recieved came preloaded with a map on it. Yours didnt? Well the other person you should contact would be scott from mazsport. But.... he is MIA.

The Interceptor is a Microtech unit. Microtech has a forum in their company website where all your questions and so much more are answered. You also could write Microtech directly...

is it normal that the rpm measuring from the int-x is lower than the rpm from the rev counter? when i have 5000rpm, the microtech dash reads ~4800.
i have the revcut set on 9250rpm but the car cuts at ~9800 as read from the rev counter. what is the correct rpm?
i have searched but i don´t find anything about that..
please help

MIA stands for Missing In Action. Not Miami, FL.

The correct rpm is on your microtech dash. The rpms on you dash is designed not to jump around so the tach moves smoothly up and down the rpm range

thx invasion...
this is a very interesting thing.
that means that the stock rev counter displays the false rpm.. it means that the stock rx-8 cut at 9000rpm and not at 9500rpm and the stock tacho is a crappy thing.
this is curious
