Dyno numbers for M Flash and V1.1???

I haven't seen any actual numbers or dyno runs with the M flash and the CZ Stage 1.1. What are the actual gains?

BTW, I've searched and found nothing.

Last time we bugged the hell out of CZ and friends for this it was revealed that Stage one was still being tweaked for M and looked to be no where near finalized... who knows what is going on.

Hell, I would like to see a Gtech graph at this point, since a dyno just does not seem to be happening.

May I point you to pages 3 and 4 of your other thread entitled How about an update?. Both Canzoomer and RX8-Friend posted about it there.

Their replies on those pages are pretty vague.

So what do you think? The only message I get is that in the 1/4 mile the ET was better but trap speed was down. Am I missing something?

Your right. Must read it in another thread. Sorry about that. If I find it I'll update here, but I rememeber the current map is getting about 20HP while they iron out the latest kinks and then hopefully push it back up to 30 or so.

I will be doing dyno runs on my car. I recently got M flashed and have already done my base line pulls.

In case anyone is interested!
3rd run was the best

Max 179.4rwhp @ 8500 rpms
Max 128.8 torque @ 6000 rpms
F/A ratio 11.6 (majorly rich) drops quickly from 3000 to 4000 rpms and continues to fall to 8000 rpms

Did you take any special preparations before the runs, like pulling the ABS sensors, or did you just let it rip. BTW, our cars are carbon copies except for your moonroof deflector...

No I let it rip ABS fault and all...I do plan on trying to disable the ABS crap on the final set of runs to see how much actual retardation is incurred. But I have CZ 1.1 in hand now and will start this weekend, and hopefully dyno times by end of week. Just depends on how many cars are in the queue and my availability. :-)

About the twins....There is 1 difference, you have billet grill and I just have RX8 logo on a small plate which pictures doesnt show :-)).

I should update it!!!

My CZ1 is in. It took 30 minutes to install. It seems to pull strong but I'll reserve all judgement until I get my tipe slips.

RogueRX8,

What kind of dyno did you use? I got mine done on a Dyno Dynamics today and saw 162.9 whp at 7450 with 121 torque at 6200. If your wondering why the low rpm, we ran it to 9000 and saw 160 whp from 7900-8800.

This was a baseline of coarse. I want to hit it again after the Canzoomer mods

Any one know were the increases are in the latest units (5k to 9k ?). I saw some dyno data on a pre L flash units that looked good. Then I saw some G-tech data comparing a canzoomer L flash with non-L flash. (but not a canzommer L with a non-canzoomer L).

My car got a big low end increase with the m flash but either lost in the upper rev band or the power increase is less noticable. Does the unit still increase this. I am expecting a unit anytime from group buy #2.

Of course this may be so car dependent that published numbers don't mean much.

Hey about this "ABS disabling" thing, can't we just pull off the fuse(s) that belong to the ABS mechanism? Wouldn't that turn the damn thing off?

I have ideas and I'm just throwing it out there :D
