CZ Stage1 & Euro4

Hi!

A question please: CANZOOMER declares with CZ STAGE1 an increase of approximately 25Hp respect has 238hp of the power standard, for a total therefore of approximately 263hp. In Europe(Euro4) the RX8 it develops approximately 231hp, with the CZ STAGE1 the power passes to approximately 263hp or 256hp?

Thank you,

Andrea

Mazda claims 237 HP at the engine. Actual measured HP indicates it's closer to 210 or so. Typically we see 180 HP at the rear wheels. They only have to be within +or- 10% by law.

You will be chasing numbers for the rest of your life if you expect the HP quotes to be accurate. The only important thing is % increase with modification. Stage 1 gives just over 10% increase.

See the dyno plot in this section. BTW, that plot is old, and the newest version is much better. Not necessarily more peak HP, but more HP throughout the rev. range other than the peak. We will be getting a new dyno plot done sometime soon to show this improvement.

Nyvrom in reality the US and Euro cars are almost identical power wise.

Dont worry about Euro 4 as the car only has to pas Euro 3 atm, unless you buy one in 2005/6
