2009 RX-8 AccessPORT Testing...free COBB goodies for volunteer testers.

We are looking to acquire some information, take some basic measurements, and test AccessPORT compatibility with any MY 2009 USDM RX-8. I will be at our Plano facility until the 31st of January, please see this link for address, contact information, and a map to the Cobb Tuning Plano facility.

Please contact me christian.krahenbuhl@cobbtuning.com if you are interested in helping us and getting some free goodies (T-shirt, hat, hoody, or the like).

Take care,
Christian.

Way out of date.......

I'd offer if I didn't live in VA. I have a new 09 but can't get out to TX.

Plus this thread is months old, but meh.

So, what happened here did Cobb get any 09's

09 PCM has a lot of changes over the 08.

NOPE, the only difference your R3 has over any-other 09~ RX-8 is the 19" Alloys, Skirts and Spoilers, Shocks, different lower front bumper (splitter area) and a Foam Filled engine cross-member.

Everything else mechanical is identical to all 09's, including all engines electrical and PCM.

I'm still down for some experimentation, too. I'll let you tune my '09. Plus, I'm in Texas.

Unfortunately, we are no longer really a priority with Cobb since the inception of new models in their product line.
I sent '09 ROMs in a looooong time ago and nothing came of it. Right now, I would be happy just to see the various pre-09 models that are currently having compatibility issues addressed (some JDM and EUDM models).
