1 Thumb up 1 down.

Thumbs up to the Canzoomer unit. Installed it last night and I can immediately feel more pull especially in the high end.

Thumbs down to the Random tech mid-pipe w/ resonator and high flow cat. Makes it too loud and did not come with all the necessary bolts.

Also, the engine idle does seem to be rougher—RPM’s seem lower. From discussions the CZ unit is not doing anything at idle. Could it be to the ecu re-learning?

Anyway I would defiantly recommend the unit to interested buyers.
I would not use the mid-pipe w/ after market cat back—in fact I think I’ll put stock back on like Canzoomer did.

Cheers,

Ben

Canzoomer put the stock exhaust back on, not the stock cat. I was the one who did the latter, and just temporarilly until I can work out an additional muffling solution.

I''m sure the resonator does muffle the sound some. I've read the sound without the resonator is unbelievably loud.

Correct. If you have a cat back without the resonator, you will not like it. It's still loud with the resonator and a cat back, but not deafaning. Maurice put the stock muffler (cat back) back on and it's very quiet.

Once again, the high-flow cat is not there to increase HP (it -may- add a few or it -may- take away a few). It's there for Stage 2 so you don't melt the stock cat. It can handle higher temps than the stock cat.

Send a message via AIM to Twin 8s!
CZ Installed today

Got system installed with no major issues.

Took the car out for a 0-60 run and was impressed with the increase in HP.

More after some additional testing.

What types of bolts are needed? My midp4 is on the way and I would like to have the bolts on hand when the unit arrives.

Did you need anything other than the bolts?

Thanks?
