04 RX8 Idle????
Hey gang....
Sorry in advance if this has been talked about already... I searched and was not able to come up with a solid answer.
I was wondering if there was anyting else you are supposed to change in Access Race Tuner program to adjust the Idle RPM...
I changed "ECT Based -A" and "ECT Based -B" up to 1000 at the warmest coolent temp available... but it does not appear to change anything with regards to Idle speed. I put it up this high to see if ot changed... I was looking to get it to Idle between 850 - 900 if possible.
Sometimes when AC clicks in and out.. it will sputter / get rough for a couple seconds... I think if the car were to Idle a little higher... it would be perfectly smooth through those transitions.
Most of the time the car idles great.
Any input would be great...
Thanks.

I dunno.....
I have had the car 4 months... got it from a Mazda Dealership who said they did the "once over" on it... but who knows really what that means.
May get a set of plugs... as it will need them eventually.
POP them out and see what they look like. :-)
Thanks for the advice.
