Like many others, I have read the thread on how to lower the RX8 power seats. While the procedure is pretty simple, it took me a few tries reading through the comments and every page of the thread to really figure it out. Once you're actually looking at the seat, it's pretty simple. I did this mod at the same time that I removed the footrest so I could gain some extra legroom as well.

If you don't wanna listen to me explain how to remove 2 10mm bolts from the footrest, skip to the 4:30 mark.


Mods, if you want to merge this with the original thread Link here go ahead and do so. Hope this helps someone!

I added a link to this to the instructions post in my post. That way it is at the top. If we merge the posts, I think yours will go to the end (based on post date). The DIY mod can move it if he thinks that is appropriate.
