DIY: Oil Catch Can

This is how I installed my oil catch can. I had to lay the can on it's back it was just a little to large to stand upright. I ended up flipping the top and bottom caps so it would fit. The "L" bracket that the can came with is attached to the back of the can. I use an aluminum flat stock 1 in by 1/16 I cut 2 pieces the front piece is about 2 1/4 long with a 90 degree bend, the lower bracket piece is 5 in long so that it attaches across both "L" bracket holes. The two hoses one goes to the oil nipple below the oil fill cap, follow the old line to the intake and the second line attaches to the intake. Be careful with removing and installing the hoses as your are connecting to plastic nipples. Hope this helps some one so it take less than the 4 hours it took me to figure out how to get it installed.

Is your engine puking oil because it's bad or did you just decide to do this because you read about it on the forum?

also, it would have taken you 5 seconds to search here and pull up the other extensively well documented DIY catch can thread and save yourself some of that 4 hours
