As I am supplying this to a vendor in USA, I will not be able to disclose the pricing openly unless things do not work out, than I will start selling this through my own company.

As for who I be supplying to, I will let the vendor to decide if he want to let you guys know in-advance or later ;-)

It's a cool looking probably not needed upgrade (or downgrade). The stock intake works pretty well and making it any larger without at least mating the other side to the new diameters could lead to counter-productive results.
With the pics provided you only see that it, in facts, looks pretty cool. Seeing how it connects to the stock lower manifold is all that matters but still i'm not sure that changing its volume\diameter may help at high rpms, while it will probably vary the midrange power-curve somehow.
Good or bad only a dyno or some maf datalog can tell, for sure in a NA car operating at the stock rpm range it won't do much.

This is a 4-port/AT manifold.

Uhm... I must be losing my bits then! From reading his post on rx8clubsingapore.com I thought he made both versions.

Yup, I made two versions, one for 4AT and 5MT, the other for 6AT and 6MT.

This aluminium intake manifold follows the design of the 6MT/AT stock manifold but with small modifications. This intake can be modify to fit on 4AT/5MT which I had done and installed in my car, and is working very well, no issue at all.

For my car setup, it is a 4AT, Greddy TC, Mild Port engine.

I dyno my car with two different setup, same tuner and dyno machine:

1st one is with Microtech ECU, BHR Ignition System, 6 Injectors (Two injectors on Manifold which was done up by a local workshop). I got 250hp.

2nd one is with Autronic ECU, Autronic CDI Ignition System, 4 Injectors (Non on Manifold), change the manifold to the one manufactured by my company. I got 253hp.

However for this, it is very hard for me to determine which cause the increase in horse power.

Thus I am waiting for four of my sample to send back to me before I can arrange a stock RX8 for Dyno session and test if it makes any difference between the stock manifold and the aluminium manifold.

I think some of us know who this vendor here in the US is, and I cannot stress this enough, that if it is in fact who I think it is, you have hooked up with the correct one.

Even if the manifold were to get hot enough, it wouldn't be much difference from the stock one. Air is moving through at a fast enough rate that the IAT wouldn't rise high enough to be of concern. It's like having 200* coolant running through our throttle bodies, or having a LIM that sits right above the exhaust

Correct me if I am wrong

You're right if you don't take traffic or the likes into consideration
Even with my AEM intake if i drive through stop and go traffic my IAT goes up by a modest amount.

Too bad you cant cut out the middle man, who will for sure make $100.00 or more on each unit, like the midpipes made in china and sold on thru "vendors". This unit will benifeit those Nitrous users who forget to purge the system.
