definitely depends on your personal goals. I was totally fixated on HP until I tracked my car for the first time last weekend. It was then I realized that suspension upgrades were going to buy me more than additional HP would! I was smokin' the other 8's on the straightaways but most of my trouble was in the turns because I couldn't put power down. There was an STi on the course, too. I could hang in the straights but, he was killer in the turns with that all-wheel drive.
I'm lookin' at swaybars, better rubber, and springs as my next mods. I'd say if your are going to autocross, which is what this car is made for, then get a CZ for your final power mod, then start upgrading the suspension!

suspension is probably the best thing you can do to your 8. I currently have the hks hipermaxxII coilovers installed on my car. I have my suspension set for streetdriving but at the turn of a **** (literally) my suspension will be beefed up and track ready. You'll be surprised on how much of the characteristics of your car will be improved.

I think the car has better than the average stock suspension as it is. Just gotta get rid of the body roll a little and you're good to go.
But of course, upgrading suspension never hurts. :D

If you plan on light track work, & are not planning to swap out your complete suspension the RB springs work perfectly fine with the stock shocks. If you are going to do the shocks as well (for serious/hard core track work) then the MS system is very good, or the Koni shocks/RB springs combo. The MS is fine for everyday driving, it's just that you will pay a lot more $$$ than just getting RB springs & not noticing much difference between the two in everyday driving.
