Depends on your budget, and personal preference. Since you have intake, might as well go with the exhaust.

definitely depends on your personal goals. I was totally fixated on HP until I tracked my car for the first time last weekend. It was then I realized that suspension upgrades were going to buy me more than additional HP would! I was smokin' the other 8's on the straightaways but most of my trouble was in the turns because I couldn't put power down. There was an STi on the course, too. I could hang in the straights but, he was killer in the turns with that all-wheel drive.

I'm lookin' at swaybars, better rubber, and springs as my next mods. I'd say if your are going to autocross, which is what this car is made for, then get a CZ for your final power mod, then start upgrading the suspension!

I vote exhaust system! The sound of your car through the exhaust is important in the twisties you know :D

If you plan on going to the track (and you should), then suspension mods would be better.

is it really worth messing with the car in supension im sure mazdaspeed has a little to do with the stock susp. to tell you the truth is it really worth screwing with an already good designed car exp. for hp . were not driving civics why upgrade a already good sports car? just curious, are all these upgrades are really worth it . please enlighting me i do have an endless tuner budget.

suspension is probably the best thing you can do to your 8. I currently have the hks hipermaxxII coilovers installed on my car. I have my suspension set for streetdriving but at the turn of a **** (literally) my suspension will be beefed up and track ready. You'll be surprised on how much of the characteristics of your car will be improved.

It's up to you whether you think its worth upgrading the car or not. I just got the revi today, and let me tell you that i dont think i'll stop modding here. If i can find a combo that doesnt produce too much noise, i'll go with a catback exhaust and a different cat or midpipe. I dont know if im going to do anything about suspension, but this car needs some more power, and i think an intake/exhaust/midpipe will get me pretty close to where i want to be (if not i'll have to save up for a canzoomer). Once again, its up to you.

all your going to get with an exhaust is louder sound... get a cz and get some real power

edit-> i'm thinking I wouldn't mind checking out how the REVi sounds in person... maybe we can compare mods one day

I think the car has better than the average stock suspension as it is. Just gotta get rid of the body roll a little and you're good to go.

But of course, upgrading suspension never hurts. :D

suspension would be the best mod to do... but then the exhaust would be a nice addition to the intake.

suspension upgrade is *always* a better-bang-for-dollar in performance improvement than just an exhaust.

I'd recommend the full mazdaspeed supension upgrade :D

If your not going o take it to the track, and more than once, then go for HP.
Like RB exhaust.

If you plan on light track work, & are not planning to swap out your complete suspension the RB springs work perfectly fine with the stock shocks. If you are going to do the shocks as well (for serious/hard core track work) then the MS system is very good, or the Koni shocks/RB springs combo. The MS is fine for everyday driving, it's just that you will pay a lot more $$$ than just getting RB springs & not noticing much difference between the two in everyday driving.
