what intake

I was looking for intake and i was wondering which to choose from: k&n, AEM, or the racing beat? if there are any others, please tell me.

If you need to pass emissions K&N is the only one with a CARB EO.

That only matters for people with visual inspectiong, though. With only sniffer you can do whatever you want under the hood so long as it can still pass.

I'm partial to AEM personally.

i have umnitza and i love it all carbon kevlar and sounds good i say go with it

Mazdaspeed is suppose to release their RX-8 intake in January

might be a bit pricey, but depending on how they class it you're dealer can't throw a red flag at you over it

ya if u r worried about warrenty and legal even though the new mazda speed cost a grip it be worth it for u the buy the team rx8 said

What intake has the most aggressive sound? From what I've gathered, they all make similar power gains, but which one sounds the meanest? I've listened to the video of the AEM on streetfire and I kinda thought it sounded like a weedwacker.

try the Blitz SUS

The filter is made from full stainless steel mesh..... certainly sounds different and distinguishes itself from any other intake i love it

well the original thread has dissapeared but i grabbed a few good links and a video that shows sound VERY AGGRESSIVE but only when you want it to be

the place in which to see and order also avail on ebay sometimes

and some discussion

i have the 3rd one sold here and i love it i wouldn't trade it cept for maybe FI and even then i would try to still use it

it uses the same filters Auto EXE uses and you can get teh simota cleaning kit off ebay

The RB looks pretty stock under the hood too. But if you want UBER LOUDNESS, then i doubt the RB will be for you.

I bought the CFWerks Carbon Fiber Intake off E-bay last week for $199 plus 21 bucks shipping , should have it this week hopefully

thats the simota/umnitza one and its also the pics from there website. as for the apexi intake its only a filter and from what i've read its AMAZING it made more power and filtered more than any other on the market but you gotta make the intake so who knows if its worth it
