What to do, What can I add

I want to add more torque to my 07 rx8, I just bought a weapon r air intake. Nothing to expensive. And yes I know it's not going to add a lot of anything but just getting a start I just bought the car and don't know what to get for it. I've been looking at buying a header for it and a performance chip. I'm not looking for anyone to tell me I'm an idiot or anything just want some opinions.

Looks like you found the aftermarket performance section. You're in the right place, read some threads and or search the thousands of posts of those who've gone before you and discussed the same question

Before the flaming begins...
Stock air intake is about the best there is. Some aftermarkets are arguable better but the difference is small.
Headers can add some, depends on what you want. Regardless you have to tune to get anything meaningful out of headers.
Performance chips are crap for idiots. You need to properly tune the car, and for that you need an Accessport or another editing/flashing tool. The list is short and they all have problems.

Oh and expect to be flamed for not searching. That is all.

Welcome the forum.

I suggest reading the "stickies" in each sub-forum. They are very informative and will answer your question. Theres even a very good thread make by RIWWP stickied at the top of the list in this sub-forum https://www.rx8club.com/rx-8-discuss...rx-8-a-233937/

As far a posting, If you duplicate a question as 2 separate threads, They still go together into the forum as a whole. Even if you post it in two different sub-forums.

The thing to do is decide what what sub-forum your question belongs in then post it there. But only after you have searched very well using the advanced search feature or the google search trick (found in https://www.rx8club.com/rx-8-discuss...t-here-202454/) And there are no solutions to your problem or question that you can find. And only once.

Look through each section and read the stickies. That is a good way to learn more. As far as making more power out of this car, it isn't cheap. Intake, exhaust, and other minor bolt ons won't make you much. I have an intake, single exit exhaust, catless midpipe, and a tune. If I m lucky, I might be seeing around 10 - 15hp. The only way to really make more power is to go FI.
