i just put on my new injen intake and it sounds really good but loud as f*** and rattles my door. does anyone know any way that i can help that. also it threw my check engine light does anyone know what that could be?

 

Check that the screws holding the MAF in place are tight. If that doesn't work go to Autozone and get the code read.

Your check engine light should go off after a while, and like someone said^ make sure the screws are put on tight. Also clean your MAF it doesnt go off after a while. If you suck up some water it can trigger it to go off If your door is rattling there is only 2 ways to get rid of that... (even though i never heard of an intake that rattles doors)

You can:
1. Take off the door

2. Put some DYNAMAT

 

yeah thanks guys my check engine light went off today and i think i'm going to put some DYNAMAT in

 

sounds good dude, i knew your light would go off, and yeah the rattle, dynamat should stop some of the vibration and therefore stop the rattle

 

good its pretty annoying
