Sard Fuel Pump & DeatschWerks 300+lph

Hi,

id like to know if we use higher flowing fuel motor pumps will increase our fuel consumption?

Say, will a Sard 280lph be having the same fc as the 265 or 235 lph Sard or even the 255 lph walbro?

If it does not, then it will be great to be in a current NA car and have the potential to save it for future turbo plans...

Fuel still has to go through a fuel regulator so in theory no... BUT if your fuel pump is bad and you are not getting the correct amount of fuel now (running lean) then yes you will use more fuel. With this being said I doubt your running lean and it should use the same amount. I just purchased the Automotive pump for ours. should be in later this week and it's just an easy do it yourself swap.

Deatschwerks 300+ LPH fuel pump ---> Thread to DeatschWerks Fuel Pump

Jeff of Mazda Maniac mentions the DeatschWerks will destroy the fuel regulator of the OEM... In that case, will the Sard do that as well?
