rx8 turbo

i was looking to buy the greddy turbo but i was just wondering how much can the rx8 boost safely. ive heard alot of different answers but want to make sure before i tune it. thanks for your help the most common answer i have heard is 6 psi

you can go to 12 psi range fine. but it depends on your tuning, and what kind of fuel you have available.

i dont yet have a turbo but the idea is very simple. the more psi you push, the more power. that means you are going to wear out your engine quicker. if its your daily driver then 6psi is a great idea, if its just a track car, then go nuts.

there are a lot of things pending like tune, other mods, ect. . . . .

but if you cant afford for the car to be out of commission for a while if something gose wrong, than imho you should start off lightly
