I'm getting a used set from a friend in Japan. He told me about 30% HP gain. I was looking at blitz site. Now they have Twin compressor? wow... But at 1500 for a used kit is a steal...

I think it is just because you have been missing in the last 2 years.....

This kit is out even before I have the car! :rolleye:

Oops ... it should be Aug 2004 not Aug 2003. My bad.

It is one year old :D

The Blitz is a Lysholm Twin Screw supercharger. It means it has two sets of blades that turn together to compress air. It is a more efficient roots so to speak.

I was hoping they would release this for some time but not much came of it. I thought the price was around $5k though and not $9k.

Blitz uses the same compressor setup in all their kits. Consider the Blitz 2ZZ Celica setup can be had for $3500 street price. I seriously doubt they would try and charge $9k for this, especially when the street price of the Greddy setup is only $3k. Something has been lost in translation.

the $9k price mentioned was for their twin-supercharger kit not the single

Twin supercharger? I've never heard of those aftermarket. Matter of fact I can only think of one, made by Aston Martin. I think you mean Twin Screw? Zoom, you're online, care to chime in?
