REVi Ram Air Duct compatible w/ other intakes?

I just had my HKS racing suction on... i'm curious to know b/c i'm interested in the unit. Will this be compatible w/ the HKS racing suction kit?

The website says that it might be compatible w/ other units, but i don't see/understand why it wouldn't be!

thoughts?

Call Racing Beat and ask them why it doesn't fit on yours with the stock box. They claim it will. See if they can give you an explanation.

i called RB today, and they said that it would fit any intake as long as the intake doesn't extend into the bumper, or anything of that sort.

MSP, racingbeat said that you should call them because the DUCT will fit the stock air box. They asked that you call them and give them the 411 b/c they dont' understand why the duct doesn't fit your stock air box.

no I did call them they said it just redirects airflow in the general vicinity of the stock airbox because to make a true ram air it needs to be sealed.

ohh.. i see what you mean.

W/ that -- you would assume that it would have no benefits to my HKS racing suction unit?

It is sealed. It uses the rubber seal between the sheet metal and the box.

The benefit for HKS is direct outside air flow into the engine bay. before it enters the engine bay it will pass over your filter.

right now you are sucking HOT air form the engine compartment.
