Of course it looks like you will have to remove the MAF housing and unbolt the filter cover to get it out. Although I haven't tried it yet, just looking at the setup in my car is the only way I can figure it will come out. Guess I could actually read the directions and try what they recommend. Curious how long before you should clean it mileage-wise?

K&N, in their general advertising brochures, says you can go as far as 50,000 miles before their filters require a cleaning.

now whether you want to wait that long before cleaning, that's up to you :o

I have heard (depending on where you live and the type of driving you do) every 5 thousand miles or 6 months to keep the maximum gains.

The last page of the instruction packet show you how to remove the filter to clean it.

I just installed the AC Condenser and Oil screens, REVi, and Ram Air. Already had the REV8 exhaust. Better throttle response and an overall better note. Let me know your thoughts when you get yours installed.

yessssssssssss juss finished installing my REVi intake and yess it was all worth the 2 hour labor of making sure everything went smooth.....i must say i did get a better throttle response (felt 3rd gear got a lot stronger too for that is my takeoff launch in the highway) than i did before and idling has quiet down than before too.... soo overall Racing Beat did a fine job and i am very satisfied.....

now all i need is some Racing Beat stickers so i can advertise them on my car...you guys know where to get those decals??? :D

Racing Beat has free stickers that they will throw in when you order something but you need to ask for them. I bought a license plate frame from them and proudly display it. Neither of these items are displayed on their web site.
