I know srmotorsports changed theirs out in their Project RX8 and claims to have gained 12hp. I personally haven't done it yet, but plan to...

Waste of money. I have them & they suck. I get the occasional CEL, & the idle is rougher. I'm going to take them off the next time i get my turbo tuned. Dynoed it & got like 1 whp.

I have them and my idle is fine.I already have a CEL from my midpipe so I have no clue if they are making my CEL light up also.If I could do it again I would use that money to put towards a canzoomer or e-manage units and maybe a tuning soon after.

isn't it bad that pulleys can cause a CEL?
I have a CEL now because of my midpipe, and I've been told that it might cause further problems...

Needem, Do you have a learning diisorder? Pulleys can't add power. It doesn't matter who makes them. Do you think that the factory would leave HP on the table just for some pulley mod?? Why don't you just change the door hindges or the seat adjusters. Maybe if you made the dashboard carbon fiber you'd get more power.
If you want to lower the rotating mass change the flywheel. If there is any weight to be removed from the pulleys it is not as much as the flywheel nor on as large a base circle. If you want them for looks OK, just admit it.

Nobody has done a dyno on the UR pullies, but why would they be substantially different from the SR units. Tell you what if you do a dyno on them & find that their claims hold water (9 hp gain) I'll give you $500, if they don't than you give me $500. The difference between SR & UR would not be the UR units being about 10X better.
