FL OMP calibration / flow

Is there a way to change the OMP injection other than reflashing? Can the sensor be adjusted towards either way to increase/decrease flow?

Cobb Accessport from Mazdamaniac is the easiest way.

I consider that reflashing... Besides reflashing there is no other way then?

I'm sure there is but it's beyond me. The flow rate to the pump itself is probably voltage or pulse rate based. figure out the protocol that increases the flow rate to the pump and you can trick it into doing whatever you want.

FWIW, it'd be a whole helluva lot easier to just buy an AP

Well I wanted to know if there was an alternative since I am using MAP instead of MAF, maybe I can load stock map with higher OMP flow and use Int-X over that to manage my fuel. I have an SFR turbo kit installed, don't have the MAF appropriate config. to have ECU control my fuel.

what's the point of having an ECU if you're going to bypass it for the things that are inherent, arguably innate, functions? You're already well beyond something "trivial" like flashing your ECU.

This thread is hurting my brain lol

Would that reflash (MSP16 or whichever) have more or good enough oil injection?
What would be the best for FI?

Take the car to the dealer and ask them if it's been performed on the car. They can look under the VIN # and find out easily all the warranty records of your car.

The reflash is Mazda's fix for an engineering error. Inadequate Oil Metering

If you have Forced induction, You need an Accessport!

MSP16 increases the flow rate considerably and richens your AFR, particularly during warm up.

for FI you definately need the AP. otherwise if you're refusing to flash i think Richard Sohn makes an adjuster as well as his famous adapter

Thanks for the info. I was checking but would the "adjuster" go in between the adapter and the motor? If so that would not work for me since I have a top-mount turbo and I already had to modify my OMP sensor to make the exhaust downpipe fit...
