noob to Rotary & Greddy turbo

hey guys, i'm getting a greddy turbo installed in a couple of weeks with a few other things. I read this thread and kinda got scared https://www.rx8club.com/rx-8-faq-9/first-time-rotary-owner-read-before-you-modify-your-car-15505/
Stage one: intake, cat-back exhaust, pulley (no ecu tuning necessary)
stage two: add tubular header, (ecu tuning needed)
stage three: add midpipe to replace the catalytic converter (ecu tuning needed)
stage four: forced induction (turbo or supercharger) need to upgrade the fuel system with larger injectors, high flow fuel pump, and ecu tuning, possible radiator upgrade (higher power engine produces more heat)
Is all the addons, like pulleys, tubular headers (i dont know where to buy that), midpipe really necessary? I mean are the addons meant for cars racing on tracks or for daily drivers? I dont care about racing the car on the track, just want to use it as a fun daily driving car.

I read about the Greddy RX8 car mods @ http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=4570012836
and I didnt see any mods that were mentioned above.

I don't necessarily agree with this guys post. It really depends on where you are going with your car. Since you already got a turbo kit, the aftermarket air intake won't fit, the kit comes with a modified exhaust manifold/header, and pullies are useless for this car (especially for the money you spend). Adding a midpipe/hi-flow cat does not need ECU tuning. Also, it depends what you are looking to do with your Greddy kit. If you are looking at 6 (standard tune) to 8 psi of boost, larger injectors, high flow fuel pump, radiator upgrades are not needed. If you want to go to 10+psi then yes.

Overall this list is pretty sloppy.

I would also suggest getting the increased oil flow pump:

Thanks for the clearifications. I wasnt planning on takin the car more than 6psi - just to be on the safe side. That's good i dont need to upgrade everything. :D
