need help!

I am removing stock intake to install new intake. my question is that on the back of the air box, there are wires attached. Obviosly, one is the MAF, but another wire splits from that and attaches on the left rear side of the box.
what is it and how do I remove it.
thanks

Second...

The second set is for the Variable Fresh Air duct (VFAD) on the front of the airbox.

If you are using the REVI that uses the front duct, you should leave it hooked up, just move the components from behind the airbox.

If you use a foam inlet, and don't need the front tubing, take it off, and don't forget to plug the vacuum line off.
