what is that supposed to do? i hope you don't think that'll keep hot air out.

It's insulation that coolers use. It keeps the hot air out amazingly well. It is sealed with aluminum tape.

go buy a piece for black plastic to cover it and you'll be fine.

smart,

it would be cool if you had a scanalizer to get the intake air temp. i have the revi and the cai for it and the dela in air temp is 8deg above 35mph. then the air temp starts to drop again about 75mph.

that stuff alone wont make it cool what u nee to do is put a cover over the top and put that stuff both inside and outside the box then it will work we use that stuff on our racecars it works just not like u have it
