I know in some of the other threads folks have been saying once they get either an aftermarket exhaust and/or intake mods they would post clips of the exhaust note. Has anyone done this yet?
(Really wanna here how the borla exhaust sounds before I consider forking out 600 bucks)

I ordered the Borla the first day it was available and it hasn't arrived yet. My intention is to post the stock audio clip (before) and the Borla audio clip (after) as soon as it arrives. This way, both clips are taken at the same time, in the same conditions, with the same device.
They charged my credit card on the 6th, and they say 12-14 days. We'll see. Hold on a few more days.

I personally like the deeper sound of the AutoEXE.
Now I just wonder what my Borla exhaust is going to sound like. I guess I'll just have to wait until it gets here (hopefully it will show up next week).
Thnx SpeedRacer. Now just gotta wait for the borla clip. I have a feeling it's deeper sounding than the others (fingers crossed)

I've posted about this before. I own a 2001 Mustang with the Borla cat-back.
Compared to other cat-backs (and other performance mufflers) the Borla exhaust for the Mustang is the deepest. So if I was a betting man I would say that the Borla RX-8 exhaust will most likely be the deepest.
In the Mustang world there tends to be two different camps when it comes to exhaust sound. You either prefer a deep rumble throaty sound (Borla or BorlaXL) OR you want a raspy almost screechy sound (Spintech).
I hope none of you will ever put a spintech muffler into your 8's. I can't imagine how it would sound. Like a blender.
Again before I get flamed for not owning an 8.... I'm working on a deal now. I just need a good trade-in value for my Mustang.

Damn Skippy!!!! Who was it that said "pissed-off bumblebee" exhaust. Not for me. Deep grumble all the way. To each their own, but I don't wan't a 'ricer' sound to my 8.
(No offense meant in last comment)

I would only ask for one thing in your audio clips...Please bring the rpm's up and hold them there for about three to five seconds...Instead of just hitting the gas......That way we can all really enjoy the sound instead of just a taste...
