Mazdaspeed kit performance?

Hey guys, I tried the search first of course and couldn't seem to find anything about performance of the 8 with a Mazdaspeed exterior accessories.
My question...by adding teh MS spoiler will this decrease or increase performance? Just to let you guys know...I'm in the Air Force and I just shipped my 8 to Germany. I'm looking at adding a spoiler...preferably the Mazdaspeed one but, I'm not sure if this will affect it on the autobahn. With the increase in weight will it actually slow the vehicle down? Will it affect the 8 when going to to a sweeper? Germany is known to have sweepers on the autobahn.
Also, what about the other parts of the kit. Like the MS front end and side skirts. Will this affect the performance of the 8 say at 140-150+mph? Thanks for any info.

Tony

Body kits are primarily about looks. After using the MS wing for a while I have my doubts regarding how much downforce it actually provides.

Weight increase is not an issue. All the parts combined weigh less than half what a passenger does.

Like any kind of high speed driving you don't just jump in full bore. Work your way up and see how it handles at each level. Then let us know what it's like.

Pity you can't compare an '8 without the body kit to one with it...

I don't know about the MS Spoiler but there's a mention in the RX-8 book about the Lip Spoiler reducing the Coefficient of Drag form 0.31 to 0.30 and providing a slight downforce improvement in the back at high speeds. This is the spioler I want!
