Question K&N V2 I think

Friend of mine ripped this out of a road and track magazine
He was asking me about it since the filter charger looked totally different than the typhoon I have
I was wondering does any body have this version and do you like it

Haven't heard anything about it being cancelled. As a matter of fact they just tested the "new" unit in Tuner Magazine. Got a few hp from it (not the 10 hp they claim, but not losing hp like the previous version). That looks like the new version, as the old version is just a big K&N unit at the end of the pipe. This one, the K&N unit is shaped differently, & is covered by a plastic/CF sheath.

Just saw the same add yesterday in a Mag, but it was for the STI and guaranteeing 12hp to the wheels instead.

the thing is if you look at the sticky note on the add it says more air = more power
but how would you get more air in if you have it coverd up like that
it doesnt make sence
but i am going to asume they know what they are doing

^^^
Many people on this board assumed that K&N knew what they were doing before, and got burned. K&N does know what they're doing, though, so let's hope this time they put some real research and effort into it.
