Intakes

I know there are other forms that have spoken about intakes but i just wanted to get some personal info.....From looking all over the web i have come to the conclusion that its not worth touching the stock intake. That it might make the ride slower. I'm a fan of Racing Beat i have there exhaust system (which pwns) and i was looking at there intake with the Revi ram air duct. Just wanted to know some advice form someone who is experienced.....thanks

You want advice on what about the intake? It adds sounds, & maybe one or two horsepower.. Nothing too great..

^ agreed, although K & N typhoon does have a dyno chart stating a 10hp gain at 8700rpms, but from what Ive heard, you dont feel it/ its false. Id take youre 300-500 and put it elsewhere, or get a K&N drop in and a RB air duct to get more air in the stock intake.

I have the K&N as well. Bought it off a member here for 110$ shipped. If you floor it, youll hear its beefy sound, and if you drive normally, you sound stock. I love that factor. Honestly at higher RPMs, over 8k, I do feel a slightly increased power gain, and harder pull/shift. I couldnt really chirp the tires from 1-2 stock, but with the intake I can easy, unless I was doing something pretty wrong heh.
