The new Odula Intake RS (Power orientated - track use) for those who has after market spoiler.
http://www.odula.com/page/rs02.htm

Or my M style street Odula intake (Torque orientated - street use)
https://www.rx8club.com/australia-new-zealand-forum-37/taka%92s-review-odula-ram-intake-duct-58857/

Racing beat also has one, and I think it will fit/modified to fit the standard air box.

Good luck

RB cold air intake is now on sale. http://www.racingbeat.com/

It is supposed to fit the stock opening on the front car frame where the VFAD goes in.

The more people that make those RAM intake, the more I think that VFAD is completely useless for power. Many people have thought that the VFAD and the cloth side intake in the high power engine is for noise reduction, but I cannot tell. I have the Odula intake in for months and still cannot hear any major difference. Some book have said that the VFAD is to keep the torque high in low revs, but I cannot tell after a while it is not any difference in torque. It is just a bit easier to get to 9K from 6K and sCANalyser tell me that the intake temp has reduced by 5 degrees.

I am very excited to test the RAM intake on the track next Tuesday. It will be just in time finished raining.... I still fear that water can go it from the spary of the car in front of me.

It will certainly have a lot of water going to the filter for the AEM intake.... it is certainly a dry weather car

I would be careful trying to make a custom intake with all the issues K&N and others have had. The length of the tube is very important, as is the design of the maf area and screens as far as idle and engine power.

I would safe your DIY skills for another project and get the RB kit. it will sfe you money and hassle in the long run.

Hey Dood! Just wait for 5 more days and I will have mine done! I use fiber glass to mold a cold air intake and it is very similar to those Jap's one! I will have all proper measurement and installation photos upload to here soon!
