I have to input the weight of the car. The Mazda USA site lists 2. curb weight and GVW. What's the difference? I was considering using curb weight + 135 for driver.

GVW is 'Gross Vehicle Weight', what weight the vehicle is rated to carry, like a semi full of cargo. I use 3200# in my Gtech. As long as you never change it, keep the gas tank at about the same level, you can't go too far wrong. The Gtech is really only good at measuring changes to your car (or comparisons to another car run on the same day), using the same road, with the same wind, temp, humidity etc. Stick with one wt, you will find there are many other variables (bumps/curves in the road etc) that will cause you more trouble. BTW, gain some weight will ya, 135#??? You are making me feel bad....

I've had the car about 6 weeks and have not made any performance mods yet. I've ordered CZ's stage 1 kit and want to get some baseline runs in first to measure appreciable difference. Islandsoon seems to have a pretty good number there. After adding curb, driver and 8 gal. of fuel I got 3216. Now to hunt out a good piece of local road.
