Esmeril Kit and the INT - X

I need to ask a huge favor here. I am in need of some screen shots of the differnt maps that you have programmed and are running in your INT - X. The INT - X that i have that came with my kit came off of a totally differnt turbo setup. Now my car is having major issues starting and running. Even if i could jsut get the Cranks map, Idle map, and a few others that would relate to starting the vehicle it would be of great help. Thanks in advance guys. This will be greatly appreciated.

These are "general" settings. I used these on my car when I was using the Int-X several years ago.
I am certain they will NOT be correct for you in load.
But it should get you going.

After looking through these i am curious if the timing maps will be suitiable for the car. The air fuel is easy enough to watch and figure out, but should the timing need tuning from here or would it be safe enough for a "safe tune" to be running on? Sorry for the questions just trying to figure out how "general" the maps are. Thanks

Timing is VERY conservative on that map.
0° of advance at the torque peak and 10 PSI.

For comparison, I run about 12° of advance at the same point with the AccessPORT.

Once again i will try these tonight and see if they get me started. Would anyone else have the "Base Map" that Esmeril provides? Some screen shots of that would be nice to.

Eh installed MM's maps. Still no start. Lets try to keep this thread to maps. If you have any pointers on what could be wrong please go to this thread : https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-major-horsepower-upgrades-93/first-issue-after-installing-esmeril-kit-174245/page3/

Wait, it won't start? I thought you were just having rough-running problems?

No start is one of the configuration options, not tuning.
You have something wrong in the setup screens, not the tables.

The Int-x typically comes with a base map for the RX-8 that should allow it to start and idle, unless someone went in and messed with the base settings.
My advice is unless you have a good Microtech tuner in your area I would sell it and use an AP. The Microtech requires a good tune and using someone elses map doesnt really work.

He found the issue to be some wiring that went bad along with resistors in one of his relays.

correct. There is another thread around here where i am trouble shooting my issue. But the car started and idled fine for two days then nothing. I think it comes down to me needing another INT-X.

If I were in your shoes I would put my energy in finding a way to make the MAF based protuner or accessport work with your kit rather than get another X .......

Has anyone successfully got another EMS to work with the esmeril kit. Also, what other things would have to be changed. Just looking to be pointed in the right direction so maybe i can look into this a little farther.
