CZ not letting car start??? why?
i sell a cz, and i'm working with the buyer to the best of my ability -- but it seems that for this 8, the cz is not letting the car start... Not that it won't crank or anything like that. it's a whoel diff problem:
when the CZ is on, plugged in, it seems that the security light (the motor sign with the key in it) lights up, and doesn't recognize the key. It won't let the car start.
I mean, i have the receipt and everything along those lines, and i even have the latest receipt for the latest upgrades and 2.0 map by Maurice, so do you think he'll cover whatever seems to be wrong with it?
From what i hear, the customer service for cz is astonishing, and his products are wonderful, so i hope he takes care of this case...
i'll keep all of you informed -- but, any ideas regarding this situation?

I've seen this before. It is just a poor connection between the CZ and the ECU. Not a big deal and it is very easy to fix. Tell him to remove all of the connectors and then snap them firmly into place.

That happened when me and izoomzoomi installed his almost a year ago. It's the connectors that are the problem. Make sure you put them in correctly, and start that baby up.

i mean, he's a really good guy, so i want to hlep him every step of the way... but i'm gonna try to contact maurice... he's good with customer service right?
and those clips.. and you accidentally plug the wrong clip to the wrong place?

alriight...IM THE GUY! either im a fool or this unit is zapped. im going into the garage one more time and im going to push those clips together!
if you see a guy that is part computer part man...its just me fused to the damed thing.

also, i did get your mapdownloaded when my turbo was on and it was running....fair.
however, even though i dont have the same power, i am enjoying my car a great deal again...just trying to get back to pre turbo performance when i had another cz 1.1.
im getting closer...closer.

once we get this snowball started, and maurice get's it rolling, it should be a bit more than your pre turbo b/c of the 2.0, but we have to get this snowball rolling...
