A single exhaust is already fairly light. How much of an improvement is there? How much weight is a driver side exhaust preventing you from properly cornering balancing the car? Maybe you guys should provide info/stats that support your position? Find enough people willing to buy the passenger exit and perhaps they will custom build you an exhaust?

For the average street driver, track day driver, etc. Your are right. Really doesn't matter. For the competition track competitor, looking for thousandths of seconds, every pound and it's distribution matter. Like a thousand drops of water, each small weight difference adds up a large amount. Ever look at a race car? Why is every tiny little piece of plastic snap removed?? It's not just the weight, it's about distribution. And naturally well balanced beats corner balanced.

If you took the time to read the thread I quoted, you will see there is a significant market being established. Although, competition racers will always be something of a minority.

It weighs 14.2 lbs. Here is a full review by our first beta tester https://www.rx8club.com/aftermarket-performance-modifications-23/corksport-single-exit-cat-back-review-impressions-235880/

Can you modify your product around these parameters on request?

Someone needs to make replacement rear exits for the exhaust that are enclosed. And available for both sides

I actually just heard back about the sound logs from the person in charge. They still aren't posted, but he gave me my numbers.

This decibel reader was in a pretty favorable location for this system (20-25' away passenger side (away from tip), at a location in the course where I was probably doing 6-7k rpm.

Readings were as follows:

94.7
86.5
95.5
92.8

So with location and distance playing such a big factor in readings, I don't know if these numbers actually mean anything.

I took a video of my run, and at the 57-58 second mark you can see the sound reader off to the right. When I actually am in line with him, and I driving very far off to the left, so the distance may be more than 20-25'.

Just ignore my terrible technique and skill.

Hey guys! You wanted this exhaust, we released it, and now no one is purchasing.

What's holding those of you originally interested in purchasing up?

I am an autocrosser, so not yet convinced you made this product for me. I'm concerned about passing noise restrictions and there has been no response to docgatorx8er yet (and my car is street driven so day to day noise is also a concern).

Also - I buy parts in the late winter/spring before the season starts.

Thank you for responding. Is the noise concern effecting anyone else's decision to purchase?

Are there other concerns that need to be addressed to start moving some units of this product?

Not to be rude but you made an exhaust for a car that hasn't been produced for 4 years and already has a wide selection of exhausts available. My guess is that 75%-90% of owners that want an exhaust, already have an exhaust mod done of which probably most don't want a single. I could be completely wrong ofcourse.

Agreed, wish companies would start looking into sII exhaust productions, only options we have are racing beat, importing units from japan ($$$), or using different hangers which from what ive seen depending on the exhaust dont help or if youre lowered the exhaust practically hits the ground

I wanted this exhaust, but after it missed its april release date I came across a great deal on another exhaust and purchased that instead. And while I love my fujitsubo exhaust, when tax return time rolls around I may be in the market for another exhaust.
