Canzoomer Newbie

I have read a lot about this unit. I need to know from the beginning how to use the unit what to purchase ect. Will the unit save my current settings. Are there pre-mapped settings for people like me to use? What do I adjust and how? Thanks for giving me some info. Does it just plug into the code reader?

Go to the canzoomer site in this forum. Lots of write ups. Basically it comes in a stage 1 or a stage 2 pre loaded map. Stage 1 the conservative one, stage 2 a little more power. The REAL power gains come from custom tuning the cz unit to your car. It seems everyone's car reacts a little differantly.
What you need:
Stage 1 or stage 2- its a plug and play.
To custom tune you will need :
1-a cz unit installed into your car
2- cz cable to plug into the cz unit
3- a laptop to connect to the cable from the cz unit
4- the proper software to install into a laptop to show your changes/allow changes
4- canscan unit-- to plug into the car system outlet. Need this to see how the car reacts to the changes that you make to the cz unit.
that is just basically what you need.
Jason Hamilton has done a very good write up on how to tune using this set up. Do a search.
good luck man, with a properly tuned cz unit and a lighten flywheel you can get a true 30-40 hp increase.

That's one of JasonHamilton's writeups about the canzoomer unit. Hope it helps.
