...could you please tell me why you're going so unbelievably overkill for a measly 7 - 10 psi?? that turbo seems a might bit big, along with most of the other stuff...

If people are interested in smaller setup, we will offer that as well. But a good effiecient turbo will make 350whp at 10 psi no problem. On the intercooler, we do not want any detonation issues, so the bigger intercooler will take of that.

...right. the thing is that the T04R isn't very efficient at such a low flow rate (that turbo hits its stride well into the mid-to-high teens, up to the low 20's... i know), not to mention i'm sure you're doing this for the 6 port motor (which doesn't have the better flow characteristics of the 4 port), and this turbo has a 0.96 (completely overkill for those power levels, and underspoolin' for around town) A/R ratio.
and also, why are you sourcing an HKS turbo when it's just another Garrett clone?? can you get them cheaper than other American makes (like T'netics and whoever else)??

For a moderate power increase up to but not over about 350 hp on the stock engine I would favor a T-04B instead. Size is nothing witout efficiency. Even a 60-1 HiFi could put out 425 rwhp at only 15 psi and it is much smaller than the T-04R. Efficiency is everything.

We will be trying out several turbos
Some people have asked us for big turbos, that will allow them to run 20 psi. Some other people want to stay under 10 psi.
So we are still deciding on the turbo setups.

The price estimate should be done after we settle on a turbo.

We do not want to throw a number now, and then change it because the manifold was a lot more expensive.
