BHR Midpipe & GarageLine Header?

Quick question, I just got me a TurboXS cat-back (waiting on it to come in). Since that ships with a midpipe that I heard is WAYYY to loud, I was going to get the BHR midpipe since it has so many great compliments - unless someone wants to state some opinions.

Anyways, I don't think I am going to get the cat on it, since high flow cats don't last that long (according to everyone). There is an option for a second O2 sensor.. why? I am a bit of a noob when it comes to cars.

My guess is the 2nd O2 sensor is used for gauges when you turbo? If I do get that, since it is only $25+, can I just "cap it off" as I would just get it for now for future replacement/turboing?

In regards to headers, GL / TXS claims I could get an additional ~10hp from the header, is that correct? I am all for adding more power to my car, but I heard that the header makes stuff really loud (even though GL/TXS claims it would sound like an F1 car, which would be sexy).

I was also looking at RB headers, but ehh, a lot of money for the "little" performance upgrade. I also heard everyone saying to way for BHR header (though the threads were years old) and BHR doesn't have one listed on their site - did they even come out with one yet?

EDIT: as I typed this, the catback/midpipe came in :O

The option for the 2nd O2 sensor bung is just for people that want to add a 3rd to their system, typically for forced induction reasons. Yes, you could plug it easily enough, $3 plug.

As far as the header gains:

Also known as 'lying'. The sole exception to this is if it's an actual race team making the claim as they typically don't sell their developed products, and won't share their exact results. But then, they aren't trying to scam you either at that point. Any company that is trying to sell to the public has every interest in showing their product in the best possible light. So if they can't produce actual dyno sheets (not just photoshopped ones), then it's either because they have them and it proves their product is useless or they don't have them because they never tested. And if they never tested, how can it be trusted to produce the results advertised? It can't.
Also, remember that unless the dyno comparison is done on the same car at the same dyno in the same environmental conditions, comparing the numbers is meaningless. Comparing PEAK numbers is also largely meaningless, as it's worthless to gain 10hp in a 200rpm band by dropping 10hp across the rest of our 5-6,000 rpm band.
BHR is still working on the header. It's nearing the end, but still an undetermined distance away

FYI: Check into which midpipe/cat has to be used together. There is one out there that isn't compatible with the factory locations, which makes it not compatible with every factory replacement option. I keep wanting to say it's the TurboXS, but I may be wrong.

Then I shall wait for the BHR header, since that will be long tubed I heard which would be awesome to have.

I do know TurboXS provides their midpipe due to the fact that it is weirdly mounted? So that could be completely plausible. I will dive into that a bit more to see if BHR midpipe and the TurboXS combo will work. Though, I did just see a post saying someone had it - would it just require new bolting holes possibly?

I have the turbo xs header, bhr mid pipe and greddy sp2.
My buddy has the full turbo xs header back system, he also put a second resonator in his mid pipe but his car is still much louder than mine.
I don't find the header to be very loud at all but if I were to do it again and needed a header I'd pay more and get the Racing Beat for a better quality product.
The quality just isn't there on the turbo xs header. My buddy's cracked and he had to have it welded, I think it has approx 10000 km on it, and when installing mine one of the two screws for the air pump snapped because the weld on the mount blocks it and they don't supply proper length screws.

Thanks for the advice. I am going to put off on the headers right now and wait until hopefully BHR comes out with one. I just bought the BHR midpipe, waiting on that to come in and then pairing that up with the TurboXS catback.

It's be almost a year since you've had the BHR and Turboxs combo JamesD31. Assuming you got it all installed. How do you feel about it? I'm thinking of going with this same combination.
