Any one running mazmart water pump with under drive pulley?

I currently have AG underdrive pully install in my car. I plan on installing turbo and want to make sure the cooling of the engine is sufficient for normal street driving that include some spirited drive from time to time. I am keeping the stock radiator for now since it seems to provide adequate cooling for weather in MN.

I would like to hear from those of you that run the mazmart water pump with underdrive pully how the pump performs. Any over heating or high temp issue during stop and go traffic or slow speed traffic? I read a long long thread about mazmart water pump and Paul mension that the pump will work fine with underdrive pulley but will work best with stock pulley. I want to keep the AG Pulley if I can so any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Lastly, can the gasket on the water pump be reused? I got a used mazmart water pump from the for sale forum and it comes with a used gasket. I can get a new gasket but just curious if the same gasket could be reused. Pump is 9 months old from Mysql car.

I am running coolant that come from dealer. I don't know it is a 50/50 or 70/30 mixed. But so far my car has no history of over heating

Thanks

I ran the Mazmart pump with both the AP and stock pulleys..and never noticed a difference in water temps between the pulleys

I don't drive around town much any more though..and I spend most of my time 3500+ so the data may be of low value to your situation.

I have no doubt that the Mazmart pump works much better at high RPM's..... It has an impressive impeller

Water pump

Thanks Dannobre for quick response. I only drive my car for pleasure so I usually drive it around when there isn't traffic. And I drive it mostly above 3500 rpm just like you. Good to hear that you see no different in performance. Where in the country you are from? Does you have turbo on your car?

I have never had any issues with my SR Motprsports UD pulleys and the Mazmart pump, either.

I would just get a new gasket. They are under 10 bucks. Better to spend that than install it with the used one and find out you have to take it all apart again to put in a new gasket.

Thanks guys for your opinions. I will also get new pump gasket too just to eliminate the issue that may show up later from using old gasket. Got to do it right first time.
